That is why, starting in February, we are adding a new partner to our portfolio: Posigo. With this expansion, we can support healthcare institutions and dealers even better with high-quality, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed solutions for positioning and fixation.
Who is Posigo?
Posigo is part of Preston Ability, a company we have successfully collaborated with for many years. Drawing from their hands-on experience, they identified opportunities to improve existing positioning materials, particularly for wheelchair users. Posigo was founded to address that gap by developing products where the user truly comes first, with a strong focus on comfort, safety, and ease of use.
Why is Posigo a strong fit for MSP Medical?
What appeals to us most is the way Posigo developed its products: step by step, in close collaboration with users, with multiple iterations until every detail was right. They selected high-quality materials and durable fastening mechanisms.
Although these products are consumables and subject to wear and tear, they are designed with longevity in mind: with proper care, they are built to last. This aligns perfectly with how we view product quality and sustainability.
Why is Posigo a strong fit for MSP Medical?
We are adding the following Posigo solutions to our portfolio:
- Chest positioning belt / positioning vest
- Hip positioning belt
- Ankle belt
What makes Posigo stand out?
One of the most notable innovations can be found in the positioning vest. While many vests provide a rigid type of fixation, the Posigo solution has been designed with extra attention to comfort. The belt remains secure and supportive, yet feels comfortable and flexible during use, without compromising the stability required for safe positioning.
- Posigo also offers several practical fastening options:
- Standard buckle closure
- BOA closure – similar to the dial system used in cycling or snowboarding shoes: quick to tighten and easy to adjust
- Fitlock magnetic closure – ideal for users who find it difficult to precisely align and connect fasteners. Simply bring the two parts together, and the magnetic mechanism locks automatically.
Another key advantage is the modular hip belt. It can be used as a 2-point belt but can also easily be expanded into a 4-point system (included as standard). This allows the user or healthcare professional to choose the appropriate configuration for each situation, without having to order multiple belts.
When will Posigo be available?
From February 2026, Posigo products will be available for online ordering. They will be listed on our website and can be requested or ordered directly.
