
Together with his father Leo, Mike Dhanpat runs MSP Medical. He has been doing this passionately for years. “Not very surprising when you consider that I grew up with MSP”, says Mike. Mike, can you tell us a little about yourself?
"I'm Mike, 33 years old, born in Goirle and raised in the Tilburg area. For me, MSP Medical is not just another company, I grew up with it. My parents laid the foundation for this company under the name Eco-Systems in '93, very classic at home in the garage. Since childhood, I helped out on Saturdays, but when we founded MSP in 2015, I became actively involved and as of 2019, I run the company together with my father."
What is it like for you to work in a family business with your father?
"I've always considered working with my father within our family business as something super fun. Where you often hear that two captains on a ship doesn't work, we don't suffer from that. We share the same vision and philosophy about where we want to go with the company, which makes our collaboration smooth and enjoyable. Taking a company to the next level together with your father is special."

What is your personal drive within MSP Medical? What makes you happy?
"My motivation lies in making healthcare more affordable by reducing the total cost of devices over their lifetime. At MSP, we do this by offering high-quality spare parts and medical devices that are not only more economical to purchase, but also last longer. This results in a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) for our customers, which motivates me tremendously."
What are you proud of?
"I am very proud of the growth MSP Medical has experienced. In almost nine years, we have built up a significant international customer base across four continents and expanded our product range tremendously. It's great to see how existing customers are placing more and more trust in us and how new customers are finding us through word of mouth and choosing our products and services."
