Products requiring MDR Certification: what does this mean for customers?
A key part of the collaboration is the distinction made by INDES between two categories of spare parts:
- Products that are readily available and can be freely ordered without additional requirements.
- Products that require a specific service procedure. This means that only customers who have attended a training session with INDES and hold a valid training certificate can order these parts. This certification ensures that maintenance fully complies with the stringent guidelines of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
MSP’s process for MDR-certified products
Customers can view and purchase the freely available products as standard. After validation of the training certificate, other products will also become visible and available for order. We ensure compliance with INDES’s QA protocols concerning MDR. If you do not yet have a training certificate, we would be happy to connect you with INDES to request one.
